A question for my librarian readers:
I'm looking for a kid's book in which the protaganist decides to feed his pet goldfish much too much fish food and it grows to fill the neighborhood swiming pool. I tried to use the "growing goldfish" as a metaphor for requirements creep today and everyone looked at me like I was tripping on something.
Anyone else remember this book ?
Update:Becki's right. The book is Fish out of Water. I remember now how sad the fish seemed that he was growing, and how he would die if the frantic kid couldn't find a bigger source of water. It was a lot of suspense for a young kid.
