The pwan's weblog without a name

I'm hurting for a decent byline here, as you can tell.

The Bivings Group is pushing clients to use blogs.

Yeh, yeh, we've all heard about fake fan sites, and google bombing, but I'm holding my breath for the good writing and strong opinions that will be the Monsanto blog. Bring it on !

At the next vacancy for God, if I am elected....

Unfortunately, Don understands the voting public a little better:

Upon being elected God, I would change all corupt cops into 3-foot tall unemployed circus clowns. You'd see them standing on street corners holding signs that said: "Will fall for food." Honest cops who save little kids and put rapists away will be given a very generous pension and dismissed so they can spend the rest of their lives with their families and exploring their creative sides. I will, being omnipotent, become the only police force necessary.

SecurityFocus has an interesting commentary on Information Resilience and Homeland Security:

Law abiding citizens in a healthy democracy should not be destined to live in ignorance that is encouraged by corporations and enforced by governments.
Note this came out a couple days before the 'They Knew, They Knew' brouhaha.

Fictional persons are making up their own fake people to undermine science. The entire article is worth reading. The entire Monboit site looks worthwhile.

Also, on a side note, lot's of the aricles by Christopher Newfield look very interesting, especially "Emerson's Corporate Individualism", and ummm, another one that would bring in too many trolls...

But where are the links, Chris, where, where !?!?! You mean I have to go to the library. Ah shucks.

Happy Mother's Day Everyone.

This is for my mom:
me and my brothers

This is for my grandmother:
Dad, Aunt T, and Uncle Frank

This is for everyone else:
my lame little tomato plants

I'm trying to grow some tomatoes. I've never successfully growing anything, and I doubt there's enough sun on my deck, so these poor guys may all be dead by next week.
