Occasionally I will surf into an area of the web that I can't decide if it's genious or just plain Wackovision. Wearcam.org is one of those places. Beware, the more you surf these pages, the weirder it gets. It's hard to tell where the research lets off and the performance art starts.

It's about time:

Boycott Adbobe

The best coverage of the Sklyarov case INHO is happening at cryptome.org.

In case you haven't heard, there was a hazardous material incident in Baltimore last night.

Funny thing about it is that about a mile away from the tunnel where the accident occured is the Fort McHenry tunnel for 95, which I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to drive though if you're carrying hazmats. (I can't find the restrictions online now.)

Personally I'd rather hazardous chemicals were routed around the beltway rather than being passed straight throught the center of town. But, hey, that might cause an occasional traffic jam, and no one wants that, right ?

Well, it's been a couple hours since Sklyraov's arrest and still there's no "burn the PDFs" site yet.
Especially given the KIllustrator flax I'd say the stage is set for some serious backlash.

Cheney is racking up a $186,000 electricity bill in his 33 room mansion. I find that unbelievable. Let's do some back-of-the-envelope calculations to put this number into perspective a little:

I have a one bedroom apartment and my electricity bill has never been over $100 a month, even during summer with my computer on 24/7. Lets see - that would be around $1200 a year for let's call it 4 rooms. That makes around $300 dollars a room. If I had 33 rooms, I'd expect my bill to be around $9,900 dollars.

Soooo, in order to waste as much energy as the VP, I'd have to increase usage 186000/9900 = 1879 %

But it gets better. There's something like 200 units in my apartment building. Assuming they have similar energy usage to my apartment, that would put the usage for the entire building, all 800 rooms at something around $198,000, which is a tad bit over the VP's bill.

If I were a hungry reporter, I'd be looking at where the money for the electricity bills was really going.

Check out the paintings of Rob Gonsalves.

My favorites are probably "Unfinished Puzzle and "The Mosaic Moat".

I stumbled across these pictures at a gallery in Bethesda, which should really fire whoever put together their website.
It's really terribile that I get a "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'" error off their home page.
