Any openings at the Dead Terrorist Visa Department down at the INS ? I think the marketingteers over at Honda would be a really good fit for the job. Why ? Well yesterday after a month of actually buying an Insight, I got the marketing information I had requested about three months ago. It's very nice, pictures of the car with wind farms and hydro plants, but I already own the car. Boneheads.

Insight Vanity Plates.
There's an example of the Virgina special fuel plate about halfway down. Apparently I can get a vanity plate with the special fuel logo, but I'm limited to 6 letters. I'm thinking of "GASSUX" but I don't think it would make it past the DMV censors. "OILBAD" maybe ? Ideas ?

The Tarbaby Jesus has a roadside vegetable stand. The only vegetables at his stand are mushrooms, all differnet kinds, unlabeled, unwashed, all funky and slimy. Pete and the boys think TB just goes around picking any old 'shroom he can find. Word is some of TB's shrooms will get you good and high, others will kill you outright. Some are just good on pizza and salads. "Buyer beware", Pete says. He'd say that in Latin if he knew how.
Some immigrants, they buy TB's 'shrooms, thinking they're imports from the Motherland, good for zukuska. But really they came from local backyard, and they're poison to boot. The immigrants throw'm back with a "Nu, budem !" and never stops sleeping off the next day's hangover.
But most people, they aren't looking for a taste of Home. They're looking to get good and high. They want to see their God. The risk of poison is all just part of the thrill. They don't care how many folks they stomp on while they're tripping away.
TB doesn't care either. Most days he doesn't even bother working the stand - he just leaves the mushrooms and a jar for people to drop coins into. It's been getting to the point that some days he doesn't even bother to drop off any shrooms. He just leaves a note by the side of the jar: "Sorry. Nothing today. Perhaps if you would be so good as to pay in advance, there might be something tomorrow. Thank you - TBJ"
I'll be damned if there are always at least a couple dollars in the jar.
