Ahh, I'm sure this is going to be one of those plans that looked good on paper, but just turns into an enormous media fiasco:
McDonald's is going to have a corporate presence on the National Mall.
It looks like its being timed to open right around the start of the WB/IMF protests.
I guess they're assuming all those protesters will be looking for a cheap meal close to the action...
And its ten year lease, my goodness.
I wonder how long it's going to be before a decade of Food Not Bombs vegetarian lunches start being offered on the steps of the Air and Space museum.
I wonder if Bove has booked his flight to the US yet ?

I can see where in the UK "bespoke" could be used to signify custom-built software, but I suspect in the US, it's being used more as a euphemism for "legacy system". Especially when it gets sucked into Oracle marketing hype.
