Here's a old but good article about OSMINE compliance, which is what I spend a large majority of my working hours on.
Alas. Microsoft doesn't have a monopoly on software monopolies.

Public service announcements are such a lame form of propaganda.
Wouldn't it be neat, in this new age of homeland security, to see a translation (with updated flags of course) of this series of Chinese war preparation posters posted around town.
Pretty eerie, eh ? Be sure to see all three pages of the series.
Most important is the ideological preparation for war.

O'Dwyer's PR Daily is filled with eyebrow-raising stories these days. Apparently disasters are good for some businesses. Especially eye-opening is their political lobbying page. Thirty grand a month's not bad, Charlie.

It's 1984 again !
I assume we'll see terrorist cells getting busted everytime an election comes around or a scandel breaks. Ah the joys of the secret war. At least with the War on Drugs, agents would at least go through the motions of displaying a huge display of contraband to after a bust. Now all they have to show is a boxcutter.

The funeral was this morning. Now I'm packing up and heading over to my grandmother's one last time before I head back to Virginia. All things considered, it was a good service, except for a minute or so during the semon when the priest wigged out, warning us grandchildren to stay away from the "electronic Cyclops" that was television because it would "eat our eyes out". Ehh, yeh, whatever. Keep it moving along, Padre.....
Here's another suggestion for anyone attending a viewing: Don't start up a chat with the widow about why the hospital her husband just died at sucks, and why you would be stupid to send any of your relatives there. It just makes things sort of t.e.n.s.e.
Also, I have to remember to keep these posts grandmother-friendly, since she is reading them !
I think I'll have to tweak the quotes at the bottom of the Greymatter entry screens to act as reminders.
