I don't know what rubs me wronger about this article.
Perhaps it's that
... national laws have never been applied to another world ...
or perhaps,

At last, RU-486. I wonder how long it will be before the right to lifers murder a pharmacist.

On the same topic, I tuned into Live Free Or Die last night, and was shocked at the ease the Bedford, New Hampshire school board gave into terrorist threats.
Shame Bedford, shame, shame.

The results of the Foil the Filters contest are in. The grand prize is a riot, as is Bennett Haselton's entry. It's a hoot !

I realized sometime during a pointless meeting today that my current project isn't so much a death march as it is a trail of tears.

Here are more pattern papers than I can shake a stick at. But still, I can't find a decent link on stovepipe systems....

Here's a depressing but true story about life in the computer industry.

Here's the Amnesty International Banned Books Week site.

It looks like in other parts of the world authors are having it a little harder than having to worry if the fundies are going to have a problem with their book mentioning magic and/or sex.

It's Banned Books Week !!

The librarians and indexers I know should appreciate this slashdot-style new site.
If today's any indication, it seems like they also have a lot of censorship stories, so perhaps even nonlibrarians will find something interesting here.

And now, a glimpse into the lives of those bioterrorists that are the root of my regions budding smallpox industry.

Smallpox is going to be manufactured within 25 miles of where I live.
Great news to start off the week...
