Pay IBM to recycle your old PC. Hmmm. Thirty dollars is pretty hefty, plus what about the pollution caused by shipping the machine to upstate New York. And who's to say IBM's not going to just dump all the old equipment in on the finger lakes somewhere...
I must say the thought of recycling obsolete technology is interesting.

I'm on a huge Klezmer kick now, so it only makes sense for me to track down a Klezmer blog

Debster's in Cyrpus and Italy for the next two weeks for her brother's wedding, so I'm going to have a pretty slow two weeks as far as my nonwork life goes. I'm a little worried Debby's going to see some sort of social injustice while abroad and she'll be insprired to act, and end up getting herself thrown into some foreign prison. She was all prepared with with a bunch of articles from work about the conflicts over the island, so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping she won't turn out like Lori Bereson. Ugh, I can't wait until she gets back safe and sound.

On other news, my grandparents got some sort of Internet appliance from Campaq for Christmas, so they are now on the web, and will no doubt be emailing me and checking out this blog any day now. Hmmm, I should probably go back and edit out a certain entry concerning the Dewey Decimal system....
