Hello Boston. We hear your public transportation stops are about to be auctioned off. I guess that's about two shakes worse than having your stop names at the mercy of Republicans who you would think might have something better to do with their time. Especially since their platform states DC should have some sort of representation.

(Not that I could find the Republican platform online - it's oddly absent from www.rnc.org.... Apparently the only item on the Republican agenda is their stupid tax cut...)

I'm sure you know by now that some high school kids now have a police record for making a Perl programming error. While it's sad high schools are now the playgrounds of copy cat shooters and witchhunters, it's still good to remember to coding errors have consequences.

Today's my four month anniversary at Cisco.. I'm just getting used to it here. I just hope I don't end up being one of the folks involuntarily attritioned, low guy on the totem pool and all that. I suppose it's better than having some of my positions consolidated though...
