For those of you keeping track, here's the latest Twin Oaks update. Debby's appeal has gone through and she's planning on moving down there on Cinco de Mayo, at which point she'll hook up with a Diego, and I'll probably never see her again. We are planning a moooooving party for the 28th. It should be good for closure.

Also, if you're going to cut me off on an entrance ramp to route 66, I suggest you do it in a van that doesn't include a 1-800 "how's my driving" number bumperstickered to the back... I'm in much too eager a mood to spread the misery around.

While I'm complaining about techie products, I'll add that Fatbrain has really gone down the tubes lately. I've spent a lot of money there, all the way back when they were the Computer Literacy Bookstore, and had an actual store in Vienna. Now, I've placed two orders with them which seem to get as far Baltimore before the order gets shipped back to them, and I get my money reimbursed.

Two strikes. They're out. Next vendor please.

I'm posting this from my grandparent's Compaq iPAQ. Let me tell you, this thing is a piece-o-trash. My grandparent's are getting all sorts of spam, and there's no way at all to filter it. And they aren't just getting get rich quick scams. They're getting pretty filthy things I'd rather not be discussing during Easter dinner. any product that doesn't let you control own e-mail is worthless as far as I'm concerned.
