I can see these brothers unlocking some doors and getting in the car but how did they get their stubby little preschool legs long enough to reach from the seat down to gas pedal ? Note they had to use a stool to unlock one of the doors. At first I thought some tag team, you-steer-while-I-work-the-pedals action was at play, but apparently the younger kid was strapped in the back seat in his seatbelt. Hmmmm.

I paid off the car last month, so I've been thinking about getting a house now. Good news for my readers is there should be less car-related posts now. Bad news is, well, thirty years worth of house-related posts.
I'd like to stay in Arlington since I've been living here for the past seven years now, so I've been putting together various spreadsheets to see if I can actually afford it, and the the answer will probably be another big fat "NO !!", just like it was a couple years ago. Bad news is, I may be doomed to permanent renter status as long as I stay in the DC area. Good new is I'll probably be able to buy one of the smaller New England states if I ever move up north again.
But the exercise has also made me realize how very little I know about Arlington. So I'm going to take my digital camera and go on some quests. Here's what I could come up on short notice. Let me know if you have other ideas.
- Get pictures of each of the Arlington neighborhood signs.
- Get pictures of each of theNational Historic Places in Arlington.
- Get pictures of each of the Arlington roadside historical markers.
By the way, I'm thinking of putting together an Arlington-specific version of the dcmetroblogmap based on this neighborhood map.
