A friend's coming to Washington to do some sightseeing. In April.
I'm showing them around. I guess that makes me an April sightshower.

Warmer winters have cut the Alaskan oil drilling season in half:

The season has gone from 208 days in 1970 to about 103 in 2003,"

Burning oil leads to warmer winters that make it more difficult to drill more oil. Hmmm... Seems like there's some sort of ecological karma kicking in.

For £49.00 you can get a most interesting dollhouse.

Baba Yaga is a child eating witch from Russian folklore. She runs around the forest (in Russia!) on a chicken leg catching children and eating them!

I assume there's an adult market for such things, otherwise there are a lot of Wednesday Addams' roaming around out there.
