The pwan's weblog without a name

I'm hurting for a decent byline here, as you can tell.

SunTrust Banks sent me an updated copy of their privacy policy.

It says I've already previously elected for SunTrust not to share my information .
It also says SunTrust appreciates the trust and confidence I've placed in them.
And, of course, maintaining my privacy is very, very important to SunTrust.

Indeed.

Unfortunately, I don't have any acconts with SunTrust. I've never had an account with SunTrust.
As far as I can tell, I've never done business with them in any form.
I've checked, and none of the banks I have done business with have been acquired by SunTrust.

Hmmmmmmm......

I don't think I'll be opening any SunTrust accounts any time soon.

What would Jesus raffle off for souls ?

The Chrysler PT Cruiser is for a woman. The motorcycle is for a man. The winner of each new vehicle must be at the Wednesday service, which will include indoor fireworks, confetti, and a 4,000-balloon drop to usher in the new year.

Hmm, the PT Cruiser is about twice the price of the motorcycle. Perhaps Abundant Life needs women...

If you're donating clothing to Goodwill in Arlington, you can also help out the Arlington Street People's Assistence Network:

But there's another important way your donations can help. Excess clothing donations are exchanged by A-SPAN for vouchers at Goodwill Industries through the Good Samaritan Exchange Program. Participants working with a Case Manager can use these vouchers at their retail stores to shop for clothing! Participants are struggling hard to make positive changes in their lives. They may need a variety of sizes to find the right clothes for a job interview; shopping for themselves also builds self-confidence and life skills.

Here's how you can help. Simply take donations to a Goodwill attended donation center such as the former Evans building at Glebe and Rt. 50. Fill out a donation receipt recording the number of bags or boxes. If donating an item, such as a couch, you can record an approximate value. Send these receipts (or a copy) to Marte at A-SPAN. Each time we collect enough receipts, we can exchange them for vouchers.
