Personal Unbranding Resources

Things are slowly getting back to normal. I've ported my other blog to this domain, and got it running on Greymatter, so the problem with
off topic posts where I post something, say about bank robbers, to the wrong log should stop now. This blog should be moved over to Greymatter sometime tonight.

It's taking a lot more time to get the infastructure set down than I thought it would, so there's not as much content as I would have liked. Things are at least starting to look a little bit less ragged though.

Alas, things are progressing very slowly. But at least now there's a privacy policy for the site. Of course, it's not actually linked to any of the other pages yet...A lot of things should get fixed up over the next couple days, since I should have a lot of extra time Monday and Tuesday.

Well, at leaast I got around to adding a default 404 error page today. It was sort of a pain figuring out how to do it.

The method removing logos and the tool black marker were added today.

Tonight I'm going to add some default pages for all the dead links at the site, and flesh out the tables of contents to give some indication of what needs to be to completed yet.

Perhaps I will also go into the evils of embossing some.

Due to some problems with my ISP and with blogger, I haven't been able to post anything in a while. Alas. I think I will be looking at porting this site to Greymetter soon.

Today I published a top level method on removing logos and description of the use of scissors.

The push to remove labels from my shirts came one day a couple weeks ago when I was doing laundry and it occured to me that I didn't like that the companies I had bought the shirts from were still trying to advertise to me even as I was pulling the wet lumps from the washer and hanging them on the drying rack. I had some scissors near by, so I snippeed off the offending labels, and it felt really good.

Then I looked around my apartment, saw all the other labels and logos sitting around, and wondered how many of them I could get rid of. After a few days of this I tried looking for some adivce on the web on how to deal with some pesky logos, and I couldn't find anything. Sure I could find a lot of anti WTO/IMF and anti-corporate sites, but none actually dedicated to dealing with the problem of unbranding in the small. So, I humbling started putting this site together. Hopefully it will grow into something useful over time.

(I'll add links to the linkables later tonight.)
(Also I apoligize in advance for the vast number of dead links in the methods and tools sections. Thus is the price of incremental growth.)

Well, well, well. first post, and I'm too tired to add anything all that interesting tonight, what with trying to setup the rest of this site. For a quick explaination of what's going to be going on here, check out this page. If you're really bored, check out my other blog. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have a template ready for this page, as well as the tool and method templates ready, and then the real fun can begin.
