The pwan's personal unbranding method

discarding

Problem: You've found something in your possession that's impossibile to unbrand.
Context:  It's very presence in your house is unbearable.  Your friends won't visit you because of it.  Your neighbors won't speak to you because it's bringing down their property values.  How do you just get rid of it ?
Forces: Sometimes the methods involving removing logos are just not adaquet, especially when you either don't need the product, or when you could either build, grow or buy a less offensive product.  Once you reach this point, the problem becomes what to do with the old item.  Obviously you don't want it in your house, and you probably don't want to give it to your friends or family, if you like them. Chances are if you're reading these pages you also have at least some environmental conscienceness, so you probably don't want to go dumping it in a landfill either.
Solution: Look into the discarding submethods, such as recycling, donating to charity, selling offexchanging at the store, regifting, and last but not least theraputic sledgehammering.
Tools Used: Depends on the submethods.  Most of the time, no special equipment is needed.
Skill Needed: What the opposite of whatever being a packrat is.  I don't know the term.  Perhaps being a tumbleweed.
Payback: You have less crap in your life.  And the crap you do have isn't advertising more crap to you.
